10 Questions with Jennifer
1. How long have you been a part of the ROOST team?
I have been with Roost from the beginning 2014 and in this office since I was licensed in 2007.
2. What’s the number one myth that you hear about the Real Estate market that you’d like to clear up?
It is never a bad time to list or buy a house. You may not be excited about moving in the heat of summer or the cold and snow of winter, but houses priced right and marketed appropriately, will sell. Be realistic and relax, we will do the worrying for you!
3. What is your favorite part about helping people find their next home or helping people sell their current home?
I love the excitement as a buyer walks through a house and starts feeling like this house is becoming their home. For a seller, I love calling with the “I have an offer!” phone call. Keeping a buyer or seller informed is the best easy part!
4. In your opinion what makes ROOST a different kind of real estate company?
Here at Roost, we have every possible amenity an agent could ask for. If I need something for a buyer or to get your home sold, I have the ability to make it happen.
5. What is the one thing you would tell someone who is hesitant to list their home out of fear of the market?
“The Market” is just a term for what has happened to others. Never be afraid to list your home. Get a good market analysis, get the home ready, price it right and go for it. Anytime is a good time to list and sell your home.
6. When you’re not working at ROOST what hobby occupies your time?
I love spending time with my family and my children. They are growing up so fast. I’m not getting older, but they seem to be growing before my eyes. I also love to read, play the piano and sing.
7. What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I am a huge sports fan. I love watching my Packers win (yes, win).
8. Coffee or Tea?
Coffee, of course. Do people still drink tea?
9. Cats or Dogs?
I am definitely a dog person. I have 2 and have no idea what I would do without them.
10. Favorite movie?
I love White Christmas. Favorite Sports team: The Packers of course. Band….. I really like old favorites!
